During the Alliance for Maternal Health Equality breakfast event, Neil Datta, Secretary of the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (EPF) was quite forthright in relation to tackling the gap in maternal rights. According to him, it’s a human made problem which needs legislation to correct it. It’s the job of parliamentarians to raise awareness of the problem and to help find solutions at national level. It’s the smart and right thing to do!
